UNCP Professor receives UNC BOG Award for Public Service

Dr. Ben Bahr received in 2013 the UNC Board of Governor’s James E. Holshouser, Jr.  Award Excellence in Public Service. The UNC BOG Award was created in 2007 to recognize and reward public service by faculty of the University of North Carolina system. Dr. Ben Bahr and his team at UNCP earned this esteemed award for their research on a drug that could slow down or even reverse Alzheimer’s Disease.
